2012 Top 10 Michigan Prep Running Back Prospects

When it comes to running backs, the state of Michigan, like its automobiles, has produced plenty of high-powered speed-burners over the years. From Detroit Mackenzie's Jerome Bettis to Detroit Northwestern's Ron Johnson to Ypsilanti's Eric Ball and to Flint Southwestern's Mark Ingram Jr., Michigan is definitely a must-stop for college recruiters looking for players to run the football.

While last year's group of running backs was outstanding with Flint Northern's Thomas Rawls (U-M), Lansing Sexton's Onaje Miller (MSU), Ferndale's Anthony Garland (CMU), Grand Blanc's Justice Hayes (U-M) and South Haven's Josh Carter (CMU) just a few of the game-breakers originally signing with Division I schools, this season's Class of 2012 stable of backs is just as deep and talented. Here are Michigan's top 10 running back prospects for the Class of 2012 --
